The Story Behind Thrive Oh Wife 19

Thrive Oh Wife 19 was born from our co-founder Lucy Peace Nantume’s deep desire to pour intentionally into women, especially wives.

The initiative was launched on 19 May 2025, Lucy’s 40th birthday, as a gift of wisdom, community and growth to other women. What began as a birthday offering has grown into a space for women who are ready to grow, be stretched, remain accountable and thrive in every area of their lives.

Lucy now steers the programme alongside Fausta Akello Amooti and Shallon Niwamanya, two women who share the passion for creating meaningful spaces in which women can learn, reflect, connect and grow. Together, they bring their experiences, perspectives and gifts to the different Thrive Oh Wife 19 conversations and programmes.

Thrive Oh Wife 19 reminds women that while being a wife is a beautiful and significant calling, it is not the sum total of a woman’s identity. Every woman is first a daughter of God, called to wholeness, purpose and faithful stewardship of her life and gifts.

1. Thrive Oh Wife 19: Monthly Conversations

The Thrive Oh Wife 19 Monthly Conversations are online learning and sharing spaces held on the 19th of every month.

The conversations explore identity, healing, relationships, marriage, purpose, stewardship and the realities of navigating the different roles and seasons of a woman’s life. Each session gives women an opportunity to learn, speak honestly, listen to others, reflect, laugh and receive encouragement within a supportive community. The conversations are open to wives and aspiring wives who desire continued personal growth.

2. More Than a Wife

More Than a Wife is an intensive, 8 weeks, small-cohort growth journey for women who desire deeper personal transformation. Through guided sessions, personal reflection, practical assignments and meaningful engagement, participants explore identity, healing, wholeness, marriage, motherhood, professional life, purpose and stewardship.

The programme helps each woman reconnect with who she is as a daughter of God and become more intentional about the life she is building, not only as a wife, but as a whole woman with her own identity, gifts and assignment.

Cohorts are deliberately kept small to allow for deeper sharing, accountability, personal reflection and meaningful support.

3. Thrive Oh Wife Annual Gathering

The Thrive Oh Wife Annual Gathering brings women together for a full-day physical experience of learning, reflection, connection and celebration. It provides an opportunity for women to step away from their daily responsibilities, invest in themselves and engage in honest conversations about identity, relationships, purpose, leadership and becoming the women God created them to be.

Each gathering is built around a carefully selected theme and brings together facilitators whose experiences and insights encourage women to grow and take practical steps forward.

The gathering is held annually on the second Saturday of April.
